Former GOP Senate candidate Christine O’Donnell said Friday that “the door was open” for another run for political office, despite her tumultuous Delaware effort that resulted in a 17-point loss.

“I don’t know,” O’Donnell told New York Magazine at the Conservative Political Action Conference in Washington. “I’ll make up my mind as to whether I’ll run again later on. I’ve learned not to say no.”

O’Donnell said she doesn’t anticipate a run any time in the near future, but that she believes there is still time to mount a comeback.
