President Obama's reelection campaign relaunched its 2012 webpage [www.barackobama.com] with a renewed focus on social media and networking tools as the president ramps up for next year's contest.

"Things are looking a bit different around here. We’ve done some tweaking and polishing to better showcase all the progress we're making on the ground and make sure you have the resources you need to build this campaign in your community," said a statement posted to the campaign's website.

Notice of the redesign was also posted to the president's Twitter and Facebook accounts.
