Mitt Romney, struggling to stay on top of the scandalized yet popular Herman Cain in the polls, is entering a critical stretch in his quest for the GOP presidential nomination. Romney, who conservatives have yet to embrace and to trust, has brought many establishment Republicans on board in the past few week and is considered the front-runner despite Cain's strong poll numbers, which often have them tied or with Cain ahead. But whether Cain's candidacy ultimately sinks under the weight of the sexual allegations made against him or continues to rise, Romney must use the remaining weeks before the first voting starts in Iowa to try and seal the deal.
