On Thursday, Republican Sens. John Cornyn and Kay Bailey Hutchison of Texas served a Texas favorite to their Missouri colleagues.

The sweet treat  marked the St. Louis Cardinals’ World Series win.

Both Sen. Roy Blunt (R-Mo.) and Sen. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) noted their reward on Twitter.

“On my way to collect @BlueBellCo ice cream from Sens Cornyn & Hutchison after winning the #WorldSeries wager. Go
#Cards!” Blunt wrote.

McCaskill tweeted: “Facing sweet dilemma. Tx Senators are paying off World Series bet with BlueBell ice cream in a few. I say [splurge].”
