Reports that GOP presidential candidate Herman Cain has been accused of sexual harassment prompted more criticism than support on Twitter, according to this week's Hill Hexagon.

An analysis of Twitter traffic by Crimson Hexagon showed that only 22 percent of opinions on the harassment charges brought against Cain were positive. Sixty-four percent were negative, with 15 percent of opinions neutral over the controversy.

Of the positive Twitter responses, 13 percent saw Cain as the victim of an unfair smear campaign.

Of the negative reactions on Twitter, 22 percent joked about Cain's scandal, with 12 percent expressing disgust with the candidate.
