Herman Cain’s presidential campaign says it raised more than a million dollars over the past week.

Cain spokesman J.D. Gordon told CNN that the campaign raised $1.2 million since a report of Cain allegedly sexually harassing two women while he was president of the National Restaurant Association.

On Monday the former Godfather’s Pizza CEO’s campaign raised $400,000 and on Tuesday it reported raising more than that, Gordon said.

Since the news broke, Cain has denied any truth to the allegations.

More recently, Cain’s chief of staff walked back an accusation he made that Rick Perry’s presidential campaign leaked the sexual harassment allegations to the press.
