Surprisingly, Sarah Palin has surprised. Not with her never-ending non-campaign and speeches in key primary states, which supporters hoped would mean a real announcement â€" that was pretty predictable. But after some observers expected Palin to ultimately endorse Texas Gov. Rick Perry, her non-announcement speech in Iowa on Saturday made it clear she isn't necessarily backing the new front-runner. Though she laced her speech with attacks on President Obama, Palin also railed against "corporate crony capitalism" and a "permanent political class," and it was hard to miss the similarities between criticism of Perry and Palin's description of the "collusion" of government and big business.
