postheadericon Rep. McCotter says he might be the first presidential candidate not invited to a single debate

Rep. Thaddeus McCotter (R-Mich.) noted that his presidential campaign is breaking some new ground: he's on his way to being the first presidential candidate to not be invited to a single primary debate.

"Breaking more new ground: on track to be 1st sitting member of Congress running 4 POTUS not allowed in a single debate. #tcot #gop #Tmac2012," McCotter tweeted on Tuesday.

McCotter's presidential campaign has struggled to gain support in the polls and he's failed to be invited to any of the Republican presidential debates since he jumped into the race. Nevertheless, the Michigan Republican has not indicated any definitive plans to drop out of the race.
