A GOP congressman met iconic crooner Barry Manilow on his way to Capitol Hill on Thursday.

Rep. Lee Terry (R-Neb.) tweeted: "Just walked music icon @barrymanilow into the Capitol. He was very gracious and posed for pix with fans on way to Visitors Center."

Manilow is holding a press conference on Capitol Hill to launch his “Get Back in Rhythm” campaign to promote awareness of the heart disease atrial fibrillation. Manilow is making the media rounds speaking out for the first time about his own experience with the disease.
