Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus called President Obama "tone-deaf " to the needs of the American people on Friday for going on vacation in Martha's Vineyard at a time of economic turmoil.

The RNC is running a campaign called "Obama's Getaway: Postcards from Martha's Vineyard" that mocks Obama's vacation plans. The campaign allows donors to send postcards featuring images of Obama relaxing.

"The reality is this: No, there isn't anything wrong with going on vacation, but the problem with this president is that he's tone-deaf to the American people and what people expect out of a president in tough times," said Priebus to CNN.
