Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus called President Obama "tone-deaf " to the needs of the American people on Friday for going on vacation in Martha's Vineyard at a time of economic turmoil.

The RNC is running a campaign called "Obama's Getaway: Postcards from Martha's Vineyard" that mock Obama's vacation plans. The campaign allows donors to send postcards featuring images of Obama relaxing.

"The reality is this, no there isn't anything wrong with going on vacation, but the problem with this president is that he's tone-deaf to the American people and what people expect out of a president in tough times," said Priebus to CNN.
