The chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee on Tuesday urged the United States to expel “so-called Iranian diplomats” from the country.



“The great majority of these people are not diplomats,” Rep. Peter King (R-N.Y.) told Newsmax. “They are thugs, they are intelligence officers ... and they are here to plot against the United States.”

It’s not t! he first time King has made the suggestion, prompted by increasing tensions between Iran and the United States.
