Republican Sens. Scott Brown (Mass.) and Mark Kirk (Ill.) made a bet on Saturday’s Army-Navy football game over Twitter.

“Hey @USSenScottBrown how about wager on #ArmyNavyGame? As a #Navy Reservist, I back my team. An #Army Nat’l Guard member should do the same,” Kirk, a reserve intelligence officer, tweeted Thursday.

{mosads}In agreeing to the wager, Brown, a lieutenant colonel in the Massachusetts Army National Guard, set the terms.

“@SenatorKirk It’s on. The loser wears the other branch’s shirt during a caucus lunch. #ArmyNavyGame #Army,” Brown responded over Twitter.

Also on Saturday, ! President Obama, Vice President Biden and his wife, Jill, plan to attend the game to honor troops returning from Iraq, the White House announced Thursday.
