postheadericon VIDEOS: With a default averted, a look at who made fun of the debt crisis

After a months-long, tension-filled, high-stakes run of negotiations over raising the nation's debt ceiling, President Obama signed into law the Budget Control Act on Tuesday.

Congress approved the agreement to raise the $14.3 trillion debt limit by $2.1 trillion just hours before the administration warned it would begin defaulting on its obligations.

The serious debate sparked numerous parodies and comedic efforts. Some mocked the stalemate in Congress, some pushed an agenda and others tried to explain policy.
