Sens. Claire McCaskill (D-Mo.) and Ben Nelson (D-Neb.) enjoyed a Twitter exchange about college football over the weekend as old rivals Mizzou and University of Nebraska squared off in Lincoln on Saturday.

"Ok This picture is for @SenBenNelson. M I Z….." McCaskill tweeted after a message from Nelson that said "Go Big Red."

The picture (below) shows a tiger about to bite the head off Nebraska's "Herbie Husker" mascot. 

"Thanks for the picture," Nelson countered. "I like this picture better. Great game." 

Nelson's YFrog photo (below) shows a screenshot of an article about Nebraska's win on Saturday.

There's been no word from McCaskill on Twitter since Mizzou's defeat: while the Tigers started the game with a number-six spot in the BCS standings and a perfect 7-0 record, they ended it 17-31 behind the Cornhuskers.
