So the wave has come and Republicans control the House of Representatives. The question now is whether their majority has a rock-solid foundation that can survive the 2012 election or whether the shifting sands of political fortune will wash them back out with the tide in two short years.  It’s time to think about some of the key challenges that confront the new Republican majority. Can they change the way the House operates to be more effective and gain the confidence of the American people?   Here are my recommendations to do both and sustain a Republican House majority for the future:
