One GOP lawmaker said he'll "take [his] chances" with Vice President Biden, after Biden jokingly threatened to "strangle" the next Republican who talks about balanced budgets.

Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Ohio) said the vice president knows where to find him if Biden wants Jordan to pipe down on fiscal issues.

Jordan tweeted Wednesday:

Biden said he’ll strangle the next Republican who talks about balancing the budget. I'll take my chances. He can find me in OH. #tcot

The vice president made hi! s remarks on Tuesday during a fundraiser in Minnesota.

“If I hear one more Republican tell me about balancing the budget, I am going to strangle them,” he said. “To the press, that’s a figure of speech.”
