Sen. John Kerry (D-Mass.) will appear in Nashua, N.H. on Monday night in support of Rep. Paul Hodes (D-N.H.), who is running for the seat to be vacated by Sen. Judd Gregg (R-N.H.).

"Join me, Sen. John Kerry and the Professional Firefighters of New Hampshire as we kick off my tour tonight," Hodes tweeted Monday morning. 

Hodes will also hold a breakfast this week with Sen. Jeanne Shaheen (D-N.H.) in Hampton.

The tour will make two additional stops in Salem and Manchester.

Hodes is trailing Republican Kelly Ayotte by 15 points, according to a poll conducted Sept. 23-29.
