The House will adjourn early this week and according to Speaker Pelosi, this limp to the finish was all by design.  She explained that the House “had a full agenda this Congress” and that the Majority had “charted all of our work to be finished by the end of the fiscal year.”  What she neglected to mention was the work the Majority failed to do: the consideration and passage of a budget resolution; the completion of a single appropriations bill; and, the prevention of the looming tax hike set to hit every taxpayer in America.
