postheadericon SC Gov. Haley to campaign with Romney in South Carolina, New Hampshire

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley will campaign for Mitt Romney this week in her home state and New Hampshire.

Haley, who endorsed Romney in December, will travel with the former Massachusetts governor on Thursday and Friday, according to her office. They will be in Charleston, S.C., on Thursday, and on Friday will campaign in Myrtle Beach, S.C., and in New Hampshire. They will remain in New Hampshire for more campaigning on Saturday, just three days ahead of the New Hampshire primary.

Haley's endorsement was a boon to Romney, as she remains a popular figure with the Tea Party and conservative Republicans.

When she endorsed Romney she said she chose him because of business experience.

"What I want is someone who is not part of the chaos that is Washington. What I wanted was someone who knew what it was like to turn broken companies around," Haley said.

Romney served as the CEO of Bain & Co., a Boston management consulting firm, in the early 1990s.
