Rick Perry and Herman Cain are not mending fences, despite the fact that Cain suspended his presidential campaign last month.

Cain, announcing he did not plan to endorse in the presidential race, took a jab at Perry Wednesday, claiming that the Texas governor received undeserved “hoopla” when he joined the race.

“People found out that he had very weak debating skills, in my opinion,” Cain said Wednesday on the Fox Business Network. “He wasn’t deep on any of the issues, and this sort of thing.”

Perry fired back Thursday morning on conservative Laura Ingraham’s radio show. 

“I hope Herman Cain doesn’t think running Godfather’s Pizza is the same as! running the state of Texas,” Perry said.
