If you believe it was a smart thing for Mitt Romney to say he enjoys firing people at a time when jobs are the No. 1 issue nationally, and the Romney record of layoffs at Bain Capital are a major issue in the GOP campaign, raise your hand.

I cannot resist dubbing the former liberal governor of Massachusetts Mitt Antoinette! I could state the obvious, that this was a seriously dumb thing to say, which it was. But I would rather make a more important point here, which is that Romney actually believes this (one of the few things he says that he seems to actually believe).
