Jon Huntsman said that he was happy to earn the endorsement of The Boston Globe, the hometown paper of front-runner Mitt Romney, during an interview with Fox News Friday.

But the Globe's editorial page is traditionally considered liberal, and that could play into criticisms from other Republican candidates that the former Utah governor, who served as President Obama's ambassador to China, is too centrist

“Listen, they’re going to endorse a Republican. They’re a respected outletâ€"say what you will," Huntsman said. "I went in to see the editorial board and they knew of my record ... they liked what they heard and they liked what they saw ... they decided to endorse me, and I say that’s good.”
