Two Connecticut Democrats compared planes and trains on Monday, exchanging traveling tales through Twitter.

Rep. Chris Murphy tweeted: “Useless skill #68 of frequent flying: I'm AWESOME at balancing on 1 foot to untie my other shoe. Jealous, @jahimes?”

Murphy’s colleague, Rep. Jim Himes, boasted in turn that he did not have to take off his shoes to go through security. Himes responded: “@ChrisMurphyCT not jealous. On train having tea, lunch, cell on, shoes on, Taylor Swift playing guitar in next seat. OK, made last part up.”
