Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney could be "a little edgier and bolder," according to supporter Chris Christie.

"Do I wish that Mitt Romney would be a little edgier and bolder? Sure, and I've told him that," Christie said on MSNBC on Tuesday. "I've told him that privately; he knows that I feel that way. But he is who he is."

Christie, the bombastic governor of New Jersey, has acted as one of Romney's most passionate campaign surrogates since endorsing him in October. Christie said "everybody could agree that Mitt and I don't have the same style." He also said style alone doesn't win the stage or the polls.
