Rep. Jim Himes (D-Ct.) likes to joke around, but he admits that "it's a little risky being funny or being human" as a politician on Twitter.

"I agreed to not mention body parts, and stop tweeting after three drinks," Himes said Thursday, describing a conversation setting ground rules with his staff.

"I'd hate to see one of my [tweets] show up in a 30 second ad in November, but I think I have enough of a filter," he said.

Himes writes all of his own tweets, and he added that he's the only one with access to his Twitter account, @jahimes.
