A Secret Service agent tasked with protecting President Obama on his Midwest bus tour was arrested Saturday morning in Decorah, Iowa, according to The Associated Press.

The agent, Daniel Valencia, was off duty when a local police officer pulled him over and, suspecting that he was driving under the influence of alcohol, arrested him, according to the news report. 

There was no accident involved in the arrest, according to the AP. 

In an interview for a separate article, Decorah City Administrator Gerald Freund told The Hill that Secret Service agents resided in dormitories at the local Luther College for about a week while preparing for Obama’s arrival.
