postheadericon Perry says he has a message for Obama's bus tour in Iowa

Texas Gov. Rick Perry (R) sought Monday to deliver a conservative message to President Obama the day before the president is set to travel to the Hawkeye State. 

Perry, a newly-minted candidate for Obama's job in 2012, decried "overtaxation," "overregulation" and "overlitigation" repeatedly in a stump speech at the Iowa State Fair. 

The Texas Republican said he had a message for the president when he stops in Iowa during his three-day bus trip and accompanying listening tour.

"Mr. President, you need to free up the employers of this country to create jobs," Perry said.
