GOP presidential hopefuls, out in force at the Iowa State Fair in Des Moines this weekend, shared some of their snack-food choices Friday.

Former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty tweeted a picture of himself "flipping pork on the grill."

The pork chops are traditionally served on a stick, as are most food choices at the fair. Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman Jr. tweeted Thursday about enjoying pork chop on a stick, while former Massachussetts Gov. Mitt Romney chose to chow down on a corndog.

Elsewhere at the fair, former House Spe! aker Newt Gingrich and wife Callista found "the healthiest available food on a stick"--what appears to be hard boiled eggs--according to a tweet from Gingrich.

The presidential candidates are in Iowa in advance of the Ames straw poll, an early indication of campaign strength leading up to the Iowa caucus, which takes place Saturday.
