Now, Republicans in Western states have taken on a new voice â€" a voice that will play a pivotal role in determining the next Republican nominee for president.

Last November, the Republican National Committee announced Nevada would officially join Iowa, New Hampshire, and South Carolina as one of the first nominating contests in the race for the White House.
