postheadericon McCaskill itching to get home for Christmas

Sen. Claire McCaskill cannot wait to return home to the Show Me State for Christmas this week.

The 57-year-old Missouri Democrat tweeted on Monday that she wants to see her three grandsons: 

One major reason I am looking forward to Christmas. My grandsons. http://yfrog.com/h8yussj

McCaskill may or may not get her wish. With several agenda items left to get through, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) said Monday that though he is hoping not to have to work through the Christmas holiday, he could not rule it out. 

Last year, the Senate held a key vote on the healthcare reform bill on Christmas Eve.
