Rep. Edward Markey (D-Mass.) took a shot at former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) on Twitter on Wednesday.

Markey, a leading Democrat on energy and environmental issues, tweeted out a news article about how curbing carbon emissions could help polar bears.

Markey tweeted:

Palin had sued as governor to challenge a ruling that gave polar bears status as a threatened species. She's also been promoting her outdoorsy credentials with her new TLC show, "Sa! rah Palin's Alaska."
