Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.) and Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.) both used Twitter on Thursday to note their attendance at a special ceremony for the late Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, who was assassinated Nov. 4, 1995.

Both also noted that former President Clinton also attended the event.

"... attending remembrance ceremony for Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin, marking 15 years after his death," Lautenberg tweeted at @ClintonTweets, the account for the Clinton Global Initiative.

"Met Bill Clinton in Manhattan for Yitzhak Rabin Memorial Service," Rep. Pete King (R-N.Y.) said later.

The memorial was held at the Intrepid Sea, Air & Space Museum in Midtown Manhattan. Clinton and Rabin's daughter, Dalia Rabin-Pelosoff, were among those to give remarks.

Clinton published a related op-ed Nov. 3 in The New York Times.
