Rep.-elect Tom Reed (R-N.Y.) will be sworn in on Thursday afternoon after the ceremony was delayed due to his hospitalization for a blood clot in his lungs.

The ceremony will take place at 2:15 p.m. on the House floor, according to Speaker Nancy Pelosi's (D-Calif.) office.

Reed won a special election and a full two-year term to fill the seat of former Rep. Eric Massa (D-N.Y.), who resigned from Congress after he was accused of sexually harassing male aides.
