As House Speaker Nancy Pelosi mulls her future in Washington, Newt Gingrich â€" a man who knows her predicament well â€" isn't offering any predictions. 

The former Republican Speaker told Fox News on Thursday that he has "no idea" if Pelosi will fight to retain her leadership spot or step aside to promote the rise of new faces.

“I don't think she wanted to govern as a centrist who could be automatically reelected,” Gingrich said. "Now she's got to decide if she wants to stay and be the minority leader or, you know, has she made her mark on history and is it time to do something else?

“I have no idea what she'll decide.”
