Former President George W. Bush defended the most controversial decisions of his presidency, saying he did his best to defend America and has no regrets.
 
Bush spoke to NBC’s Matt Lauer over an hour-long special that aired Monday night and was meant to promote his new book, “Decision Points,” which is released on Tuesday. In the book, Bush opts for a selective series of stories instead of a traditional memoir.

Among the subjects he talked about were how he formed his pro-life views, his battle with alcohol, the war on terror and Hurricane Katrina.
