Election night wasn’t pretty for Democrats.

With Republican gains on Capitol Hill, the Obama administration is going to need to take steps to work across party lines to implement its agenda.  The only alternative to this is total gridlock and that would not be good for the White House nor the American people.  Therefore, one possible move the White House should consider is immediately lifting the ban on lobbyists working in the executive branch.  I know this will break a campaign promise and Republicans will surely pounce.
